The Broker - What It Is
TabTrade opened in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres institutional desks use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
The instrument list: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is broad.
What You Trade On
Available: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from one account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Access to both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders find it more natural once they try it.
FIX API is available for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
This is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.
Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. The point is the setup is serious. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering is strong. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the detail that matters. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It does inform your assessment.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
